2. Eligibility. Open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and all other U.S. territories) and Canada (including Quebec) who are 18 or older, or the age of majority in their province or territory, whichever is older, at the time of entry. Void where prohibited.
3. Entry period. Starts October 9, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. ET and ends October 23, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
4. How to enter. (a) Submit your email address and country through the form on nosroutes.com/giveaway or the giveaway pop-up on nosroutes.com. This subscribes you to the Routes newsletter. If you are already subscribed, submitting the form enters you in the draw. (b) Comment “GIVEAWAY” on a Routes Instagram post announcing the giveaway, or reply “GIVEAWAY” to a Routes Instagram story (@nosroutes), then follow the instructions sent to you by direct message: confirm your country of residence and provide your email address. This also subscribes you to the Routes newsletter. (c) To enter without subscribing, email hello@nosroutes.com with “Shadd Cary” in the subject line, including your full name and country of residence. Limit one entry per person, whatever the method. Entries made by automated means are void.
5. Prize. One winner will receive one framed 12 × 16 in (30 × 40 cm) Mary Ann Shadd Cary print from the Routes collection, in a black metal frame. The winner chooses the print's colorway: white or navy blue. Approximate retail value: US$115 / CA$175. Shipping is free. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
6. Draw. On or around October 26, 2026, Sponsor will select one winner at random from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries.
7. Notification. The selected entrant will be contacted by email and must reply within 72 hours. Before being declared the winner, a resident of Canada must correctly answer, without assistance, a mathematical skill-testing question. If the selected entrant does not reply in time, does not answer correctly or is not eligible, the prize is forfeited and another entrant is drawn at random.
8. Announcement. With the winner’s consent, Sponsor may share their first name and state or province on Instagram and in the newsletter.
9. Privacy. Personal information is used to run this giveaway and, for entrants who subscribe, to send the Routes newsletter, as described in our privacy policy. You can unsubscribe at any time. Unsubscribing does not cancel your entry.
10. General. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late or incomplete entries, or for technical failures. Sponsor may cancel or modify the giveaway if fraud or circumstances beyond its control affect its fair operation. By entering, entrants agree to these rules.

Vous serez alors abonné·e à l’infolettre de Routes. Si vous êtes déjà abonné·e, remplir le formulaire vous inscrit au tirage. b) Commentez « GIVEAWAY » sous une publication Instagram de Routes annonçant le concours, ou répondez « GIVEAWAY » à une story Instagram de Routes (@nosroutes), puis suivez les instructions envoyées par message privé : confirmez votre pays de résidence et indiquez votre adresse courriel. Vous serez également abonné·e à l’infolettre de Routes. c) Pour participer sans vous abonner, écrivez à hello@nosroutes.com avec « Shadd Cary » en objet, en indiquant votre nom complet et votre pays de résidence. Une seule participation par personne, quel que soit le moyen utilisé. Les participations automatisées sont nulles.
5. Prix. Une personne gagnante recevra une affiche encadrée de 30 × 40 cm (12 × 16 po) de Mary Ann Shadd Cary, de la collection Routes, dans un cadre en métal noir. La personne gagnante choisit le coloris de l’affiche : blanc ou bleu marine. Valeur approximative : 115 $ US / 175 $ CA. Livraison offerte. Le prix ne peut être échangé contre de l’argent. L’organisateur peut le remplacer par un prix de valeur égale ou supérieure si nécessaire.
6. Tirage. Vers le 26 octobre 2026, l’organisateur tirera au sort une personne gagnante parmi toutes les participations admissibles. Les chances de gagner dépendent du nombre de participations admissibles reçues.
7. Avis à la personne gagnante. La personne sélectionnée sera contactée par courriel et devra répondre dans un délai de 72 heures. Avant d’être déclarée gagnante, une personne résidant au Canada devra répondre correctement, sans aide, à une question d’habileté mathématique. Si la personne sélectionnée ne répond pas à temps, ne répond pas correctement ou n’est pas admissible, le prix est annulé et une autre personne est tirée au sort.
8. Annonce. Avec son accord, l’organisateur pourra publier le prénom de la personne gagnante et son État ou sa province sur Instagram et dans l’infolettre.
9. Renseignements personnels. Les renseignements personnels servent à la gestion du concours et, pour les personnes qui s’abonnent, à l’envoi de l’infolettre de Routes, conformément à notre politique de confidentialité. Vous pouvez vous désabonner à tout moment. Le désabonnement n’annule pas votre participation.
10. Dispositions générales. L’organisateur n’est pas responsable des participations perdues, tardives ou incomplètes, ni des défaillances techniques. Il peut annuler ou modifier le concours si une fraude ou des circonstances indépendantes de sa volonté en compromettent le bon déroulement. En participant, vous acceptez le présent règlement.
